About Us

How do you care for your goats? This is a question many people ask when they visit the farm or are looking at getting goats. On this page we will provide you with more information about our farm, animals, philosophy and history.

Our Business Philosophy

At Green Gables, we are dedicated to raising our food and animals in the most responsible and healthy way possible. Our gardens are completely organic without any pesticides or herbicides. Our animals are cared for in a natural, holistic manner, given plenty of attention and affection, water, fresh air and sunshine and a natural diet. We worm our goats weekly with Molly's Herbal wormer (from FiascoFarm.com) and have minerals and diatomateous earth available for them free choice.

Our Farm

Our farm is located in beautiful Buffalo county in Wisconsin about a half hour south of Eau Claire. There are plenty of hills for the goats to climb and lots of fresh browse in the spring though fall. We are working on increasing the areas that we have fenced so the goats can get up into the hills where their favorite foods abound - all that underbrush in the woods!

Our Animals

Our goats are very colorful, we have Mini Nubian goats with white, chocolate, cream, gray, black, tan, brown, red and gold colors. All our dairy goats are bottle-fed as kids and are VERY friendly.
Our MiniNubian breeding stock are dual registered with the Miniature Dairy Goat Association (MDGA) and The Miniature Goat Registry (TMGR). Enjoy our site!!!

Wethers make great pets!
