Green Gables CH Misty (2nd gen.)
Sire: Heart's Delight Hershey (2nd gen.)
ss: Heart's Delight Ranger
sd: Heart's Delight Mercy
Dam: Green Gables Cloudy Night (1st gen.)
ds: Green Gables Morgan
dd: The Sim's Muffin
DOB: 3/14/03
MISTY is one of my favorite does, she is so friendly and loving that she is just irresistible. Not to mention that her coloring is gorgeous! Misty's ears are about 3/4 drop and she has a fairly roman nose. Her dam had a huge udder and gave tons of milk - she peaked at 10# as a 3 year old! Misty has a very nice udder with tons of capacity and easy-to-milk teats. She is milking very well at 6-8 lbs of milk per day and is a sweetheart on the milk stand. Misty is only 24 inches tall. At 5 years old (when the above picture was taken) she is still going strong and is maturing beautifully.

2007: Misty took Sr. GCH in the online show! Misty's granddaughter, Amazing Grace (daughter of Raisin) took Jr. GCH in the online show this year.
Misty's daughter, Raisin took 1st in a different online show in '05.

sd: Carey's Lacey Bonnet
Dam: Buttin' Heads Mont Olive (ND)
ds: Buttin' Heads Montwizuma *S
dd: Buttin' Heads Dwill Pickle
DOB: 10/03/01
WHITE CLOUD was nicknamed Arthur by some little girls so now every one calls her that. She is black with a few white markings. Arthur gave us QUADRUPLET DOES in 2006 and triplet does in 2007!!! We were very surprised as out of the 6 kids she had before we bought her she only had one doeling. All four of her quads were very strong and healthy, not a runt among them. Arthur is an excellent milker giving about 7 lbs of milk per day. Her udder is very large and capacious. Arthur has 2/3 drop ears and a slightly roman nose. She has tons of body capacity with an extremely flat rump and still stands on strong feet and legs - she is pictured at almost 7 years of age. Arthur has a wonderful personality and is very gentle and calm.

ROSEBUD is Charlie's litter mate sister. We were so happy with Charlie and his kids that we went back and bought two full sisters and his dam's sister (see Arthur above). Rosebud is a very dark buckskin with frosted ears and muzzle and a few white markings. Her ears are pendulous and her nose is roman. She a very smooth, level topline with an extremely flat rump. She has nice body capacity and strong feet and legs Her dam is an excellent milker. Rosebud is milking well at about 6 lbs of milk per day. Her udder is very well attached with a high, wide rear udder and tight attachments all around. Her teats are well delineated and well placed. Rosebud's kids are always gorgeous with wonderful conformation and lovely personalities. Five of her 6 sons went to breeding homes and we have retained her daughter for our herd. WINDY is the last kid we have from our Nubian doe, Muffin. She is very special to us. Windy is chocolate with gold trim and frosted ears and muzzle. She is 75% Nubian and 25% Nigerian. Her ears are very wide and completely pendulous although they are a little too short. I am very happy with Windy's udder. It is well attached and her rear udder is high and wide. She is milking about 4.5 - 6.5 lbs per day. She is very easy to milk and is a sweetheart on the milk stand.

RAISIN is the spittin' image of her mother. She has better ears and a stronger, smoother topline than her dam though. I love her coloring - black with gold and white. Raisin's udder is very nice. She is giving a lot of milk - about 5 lbs a day - and she is only 23 inches tall. Her udder is nicely attached with a smooth fore udder and well placed, easy to milk teats. dd: Morning-Glow Flax
DOB: 4/13/07
EMMA as we call her, is a beautiful red doe with a white belt and frosted ears and nose. I thought I wouldn't be needing any more does to add to my herd... Until I saw Emma! Star only gave us one doeling in 2008 so when I had an opportunity to buy one of his daughters from another farm, I couldn't resist. Emma has lovely breed character and conformation. She is very long bodied with correct feet and legs and a strong topline. Her dam is a great milker giving nearly 8 lbs (1 gallon) of milk a day. Her sire Star also comes from a line of great milkers, so Emma should be a wonderful little milk goat. Emma freshened for the first time in March '09 with BEAUTIFUL buck/doe twins.  Both have wonderful breed character.  Emma's udder is lovely and SUPER easy to milk.
Thank you Andrea for selling this wonderful little doe to me. Photos of Emma, Star and Dora courtesy of Andrea and Randy Kuhtz of Country Dreams.
